We have several acts and are looking for more. Can you tell a few jokes? Sing a song with a karaoke machine? Do you want to join the Men's Can Can not Line? The Women's Association is cooking up an act with laugh or two. You can laugh at us or with us!
Think about and let us know, we would love to hear form you. Nancy and I are putting together the TPC Got Talent Show for Friday, May 14th. We have flyers and registration forms available at reception or through email. If you so not want to perform we hope you still plan on coming as this is an event sponsored by Christian Education and it is our hope to put together a fun family night out. If you would like to work at the event, or coordinate the refreshments and finger foods, please contact us as well. This will prove to be a fun night out for the whole RPC family. Please come on May 14th! If you are interested in putting together an act, please read on:
RPC Talent Show Guidelines 2010
Registration Forms need to be in soon!
Thou Shalt:
1. Keep your act to no more than 5 minutes!
2. Perform one song, dance or musical piece during your act.
3. Participate one time as a soloist but you may also participate as part of a group/ensemble.
4. Keep your material appropriate for a church/family show (which is not to say that humor is to be avoided)!
5. Rehearse sufficiently so that you will present a quality act.
6. Perform "in Preview" so the directors might get an idea of what your act involves (including timing, equipment, content, adherence to the guidelines, etc.)
7. Attend one of the dress rehearsals scheduled before the show.
Friday, May 7th, 7-9 pm or Saturday, May 8th, 12-3 pm
8. Feel free to involve people outside the church if that is part of your act.
9. Encourage others to come to the show
10. Enjoy the show. It will be a lot of fun!
Reminder: The producers will preview your act prior to the performance and there will be one dress rehearsal scheduled. Thank you for Participating!
SHOW TIME: FRIDAY, MAY 14, 2010
