IMPACT's
Habitat for Humanity
Trip to West Palm Beach, FloridaEighteen youth and adult volunteers from Impact will spend the winter break in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Habitat for Humanity International's Collegiate Challenge is one of the country's largest year-round alternative break programs. Collegiate Challenge provides an opportunity for youth to share their time and skills to create safe and affordable housing for the under-privileged throughout our country and the world.
During the five-day work week, volunteers will frame houses, install plasterboard and insulation, roof, paint, and landscape in a development of two dozen homes under construction. Downtime activities include obligatory beach visits and other excursions. This is Impact's sixth Habitat for Humanity's trip.
