- Rye Presbyterian Church supports an active outreach ministry
with volunteers and funding, locally, nationally and internationally.
Ten percent of our pledged income and gifts is directed to outreach.
- Nationally and internationally, we participate through the mission
channels of our Presbyterian denomination.
- Locally, our mission committee researches applicant agencies
and is responsible for annual grants to over twenty different
community groups which assist in feeding the hungry, sheltering
the homeless, assisting the handicapped, encouraging youth, promoting
health, and seeking justice.
- Volunteer opportunities in each of these programs are always
welcomed. A mission bulletin board advertises many opportunities
in addition to the monthly newsletter.
